Welcome to Software for Small Angle Scattering! This project, funded by Diamond Light Source and the STFC ISIS Neutron Source, endeavours to bring together software and resources related to Fibre Diffraction and Solution Scattering.

- Announcing SANSView: a new, multi-platform, SAS data model-fitting package supporting user-written model plugins.
- GDA - Software for Science: The GDA project is an open-source framework for creating customised data acquisition software for science facilities such as neutron and x-ray sources. The software is Java/Eclipse-based, free and released under the GPLv3. Functions for Data processing of SAXS data coming soon.
- Announcing MantidPlot: a new open source platform for the reduction, transformation and visualisation of SANS data.
- A web form is now available for converting 3-column ASCII CSV (eg, Q, I(Q), Ierror) data into the CanSAS SASXML 1D format.
- Content from the canSAS website hosted at the ILL has now been merged into the site, including the Data Formats page and the archive of past canSAS workshops.
