Andrew Jackson, 5 January 2008
The canSAS 1D Formats Working Group (1DWG) has reached it's first
milestone and released v1.0 of the XML based 1D reduced data format
discussed at canSAS-V.
The format meets the discussed criteria for describing 1-D reduced
small-angle scattering data, including consideration of metadata.
While the documentation is yet to be completed, the standard is ready
for experts to begin creating XML files for exchange with other facilities.
It is possible to test these XML files against our XML Schema to ensure
they conform to the standard we have declared.
Details can be found on the working group wiki at:

All the best for an XML filled 2008!
