MantidPlot - Reduction, Transformation & Visualisation of SANS Data

Introduction
MantidPlot is an open source platform providing a framework of common services, algorithms and data objects for high-performance neutron and muon data treatment. The project is led by specialist scientific contractors Tessella Consulting, in collaboration with ISIS, the SNS and HFIR. Additional collaborators are welcome.

The MantidPlot platform:

  • Is instrument or technique independent;
  • Supports multiple target platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X);
  • Is easily extensible by Instrument Scientists/Users;
  • Is open source and freely redistributable;
  • Provides functionalities for Scripting, Visualization, Data transformation, Implementing Algorithms, and Virtual Instrument Geometries.

Interaction with Mantid is through GUI's driving Python scripts calling C++.
